I done this and patched it with VistaGlass and your program, but I only get glass when full screen how do I fix, so it works with windowed programs?

VistaGlazz replaced your patched Aero visual style to allow maximized window transaprency. It doesn't patch the existing style, it replaces it. re-apply the transparency force patch.

Are you guys sure this works for Windows 7 Home Basic? I tried all of the methods, as well as the TransForce patcher and even other possible methods, and all I've got is a blue Aero (via Vista Style Builder, which my cousin happened to have bought weeks ago). I never got the transparency.

I'm doing this for a friend who bought the Home Basic edition like I did, and was displeased with the non-transparent bright-blue Aero (everything else, even the lack of the features the other editions have, is fine for him). As for my case, I'm keeping the blue Aero, since blue's my favorite. :D

I hope you guys have other ideas in mind.

I was exploring this, since we know that those methods don't work on Windows 7 RTM (they worked on 7100 experimentally). DWM Core code has been drastically changed and it may require additional patching. For now, this is only Vista ready.

I hope this will be Windows 7 Home Basic-compatible soon.
